Benzoin is also been called 2-Hydroxy-1.2-Diphenylethanone.
It is a good additive used in powder coatings as degassing agent.

3. Application and Performance
①. The function of benzoin is to eliminate the bubbles in the melting powder coating.
②. It can be applied in all categories of powder coating.
③. Application method: mix with other ingredients directly before extrusion.
④. The recommended dosage is about 0.3~0.8% calculated on total formulation weight. The precise amount shall be based on the lab test.
⑤. Its dosage should be properly controlled to obtain suitable film, as superfluous benzoin may cause yellowing phenomenon.
4. Package, storage and validity:
①. 20kgs/ kraft paper-plastic compound bag.
②. Store in a cool and dry place and seal tightly after using. As this product is irritant to respiratory tract,please wear dustproof mask and glove when operating.
