Description:

Properties: white powder, relative density: 1.86, soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, water solution and dilute inorganic acid when heated, hydrolyzed into phosphoric acid, hygroscopic, water absorption, formed six crystal hydrate, when heated to 220℃ above the decomposition of sodium metaphosphate.

Applications:
Sodium Trimetaphosphate(STMP) used as starch modifier , turbidness-preventing agent for fruit juice and drinks, water-holding agent for meat processing, water softener, adhesive agent and dispersing agent for meat, and stabilizer for ice cream, cheese and other dairy products for the sake of protecting food from discoloring and decomposing of vitamin C.The adding amount of this product in food processing is 2-4%.
